Siren Driver Systems

HD-110CF COMPACT DRIVER SYSTEM

This slim and compact 100 Watt ferrofluid driver can be installed in many locations on emergency vehicles, including behind the grille and on top of or behind the bumper. Ferrofluid prevents air movement in the gap resulting in lower distortion. The net result is that the loudspeaker can handle greater power input and produce higher sound levels

The speaker can be mounted behind the vehicle grille, under the bumper or in any other concealed
location.

Ferrofluid
Ferrofluid is truly a space age material, a magnetic fluid, originally created for lubricating ball bearings in space. The liquid has tiny magnetic particles attached to the fluid base the way soap attaches to particles of dirt. This fluid flows toward stronger magnetic fields. In drivers, ferrofluid is placed in the gap of the magnet.
Because of the fluid’s magnetic properties, it is held in the gap and cannot run out. The presence of this fluid helps cooling and therefore protects and prolong the the driver lifespan by improving thermal conductivity
between the coil and the frame. Ferrofluid prevents air movement in the gap resulting in lower distortion.
The net result is that the loudspeaker can handle greater power input and produce higher sound levels.

The Flexitube siren speaker allows the horn and driver to be installed separately under the bonnet of even the most compact vehicles.
The speaker driver can be mounted on the bulkhead or the inner wing virtually any distance from the horn.
The horn can be mounted behind the vehicle grille, under the bumper or in any other concealed location.
The acoustic flexible tube allows easy installation.
